I don't think I would ever truly understand what a sacrifice is.

My recent blog was about the uncertainty of my job. But I'm not that worried at the same time.

As I finish my second bowl of kapong to night, I came across a photo of a mother with her children behind her, holding on to the side of a land edge. The caption wrote something down the line of, "This is why I continue to work hard. I will never forget my roots."

It made me so sad (like always) and reminded me that my troubles are so small. A job loss is so small (maybe just at this point in my life). Relocation is so small. Not shopping ;P is so small. People in and out of my life are so small. These are such small stress or sacrifices that doesn't even compare to what my parents and other refugee people went through. To relocate halfway across the world, I can't even imagine. To work for minimum wage upon arrival, I should be grateful for mine. To be the best I can be, is so little from me.

My troubles and worries are so small. The One above has something planned for me. I was made for something bigger, something greater, something more than I am today. If it means sacrificing something I value and love, I have to trust the fate that has been determined for me.

Life is too short, be happy.

$26.89 - bra, free panty, shipping fee, and secret reward card!

I remembered I had some mailed in coupons and those sometimes work for online orders. They'll tell you what code to use if you use it online. I think you can still use it in store also. Depending on your cashier, may the odds be in your favor.

The total of this deal is better than the one I posted yesterday, since it would've been $20+ guaranteed back. However, I liked yesterday's choices more. The $10 coupon will not work for bras that has a 2/$XX.XX special. Although you're paying for shipping in this order, it's only $6 of the coupon and the $4 is toward your total. Codes:
  • Angelsecret16
  • bra10uk
  • reepantyuk
As always, use ebates. My referral is here. Thank you:

Great deal, but I won't be placing an order since I did one yesterday. FYI, I limit and budget myself to $50/month MAX on clothing items.

Just found this deal after I posted the blog:

I came across this photo today and it was so accurate to how I've started to see life's turnout. Last Friday, I received unexpected news about my job and was really shocked. I was pretty much miserable all weekend because I didn't really know what to do with my life from it. But once I thought about what to do with my new free time, I became really happy. I even thought about going to Thailand for a whole month! That's the most important thing I want to do in life.

I realized that ever since I graduated, I thought, Once I find a job, I'll save money and live happily ever after. It took me forever to get to my job today to feel like I've reached success. But of all the jobs I've ever had, this one isn't the top of the list. I'm not miserable, but I'm just saying that I kept telling myself to wait for peace. Once I make more. Once I have more time. Once this. Once that. However, the news over the weekend made me realized the peace in everything I always had. I will never ever think that a job plays a single role in my life. Less hours? I only get to make videos and blog. No health insurance? It's fine for now, but not if I had a family. No job? That's fine. I'll travel for a month and then look for a new one when I come back. I'm not, will never, and refuse to be threatened or monopolized.

Anyway, got a better call back today about the situation and things are looking a little better. Sometimes, darkness happens so you remember to appreciate the light. Sometimes, bad things happen to good people. Sometimes, you win. Sometimes, you lose. Whatever the situation is, keep moving and stay positive.

$35 for Victoria Secret bra + undie + $20+ back in rewards to use in April

This deal is best for VS card holders. None cardholders will get $10+ guaranteed back on; still a great deal tho :D!

These are all the codes used:
  • freepantyza2: search this exact code to get the free panty. Not valid with a clearance bra
  • angelbonus: to receive the $10 giftcard, but it's double today (2-22) for cardholders
  • trybras: free shipping & return with non-clearance bra!
My total was exactly $34.29, but with the double rewards back, I will get back $20 for sure. However, these rewards go as high as $500!! So we'll see my luck this year.

YOUR VOTE COUNTS IN THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim.

If you don't know who you're voting for the 2016 Presidential Election, make yourself useful and vote Bernie Sanders. I have so much more research to do if I wanted to convince you, but I'll let you continue that search after this video and post.

I guess I'm really just voting for him because not voting for Trump is an easier decision. I'm not sure what Bernie's entire plans are or if it even benefits me. However, I do know that I don't want a dictator to rule me, kick out immigrants or refugees, and build a wall to protect themselves.

Maybe you're thinking at this point, vote for no one. Oh my friend, not making a choice is still making a choice. Holocaust and Nobel Peace prize winner, Elie Wiesel once said:
We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must - at that moment - become the center of the universe.”
Back to the video, Berner talks about how much more expensive it is to be poor. I couldn't agree more that the system is made that way, which is why it can be so hard for some people to escape. First, he compared how he pays for fresh fruits and veggies for the same price that poverty pay for a lesser quality. Second, he compare cashing a check. He can maintain a bank, so he doesn't get a fee to cash his checks. People in poverty can't, and they have to lose $1+ every time they cash a check. Third, there's wealth to owning a home. In conclusion, poor people pay interest and fees for their financial services, rent a roof, and their wages are inadequate to compensate for all that.

I'm voting for a person who understands this cycle and is willing to turn this system around to help more people. Sure there will be abusers, but pushing them out also means pushing the other half of people who actually need it.

Forget finding the right person, Focus on being the right person

I thought I was done was my rant on fb, but I guess not. I heard the song, "No Scrub," when I was younger, but I didn't pay much attention to it. However, I still lived and live the words of the song:

A scrub is a guy that thinks he's fly
And is also known as a buster
Always talkin' about what he wants
And just sits on his broke ass So (no)

But a scrub is checkin' me
But his game is kinda weak
And I know that he cannot approach me
'Cause I'm lookin' like class and he's lookin' like trash
Can't get with a dead-beat ass

So (no) I don't want your number (no)
I don't want to give you mine and (no)
I don't want to meet you nowhere (no)
I don't want none of your time (no)

Like, NO, NO, NO, I'm not interested. This entry/rant goes both directions, but since I'm a female, I'll be writing from a female's point of view. I think scrubs are the ugliest people inside and out ever. They leach and have no control over life. They come up with great plans and ideas, but can't walk it. Instead, they would tell their friends/group, "Yea, WE should do XYZ." Or the most common one, "lets hang out with those girls ... but you drive." Like, get a job everybody, because contributing is caring and caring is sexy ASF!

$450 for 2-Night Bahamas Cruise for Two from Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line AND AIRFARE

I just did the math of how cheap this deal is! First, it's 20% off the $229 with CODE EBATES20, making this $183.20. If you access groupon through right now, you'll earn 9% back, which is $16.48, making this total so far $166.71 for 2 people to stay on the cruise for 2 nights. The percentage could change if you wait a different day. Last time I used it was 10% back.

What is going to cost the most is the flight there if you don't live near the departing dock in Palm Beach, FL. A common airport nearby is Fort Lauderdale (FLL) is about an hour away and is on the route for most airlines, so calculate that time and cost for that accommodation. You can earn more money by using ebates to access third party flight tickets, like, cheapoair,

When buying this deal, it's all about the date that will give you the lowest total overall cost. If you go on this cruise on a weekday, flight tickets will be cheaper. But that means vacation or PTO from work.

So far, based on the date I used as an example, it'll cost about $500, making it only $250 for each person. This is a great deal for those who do not want to splurge, but get a feel of what a cruise is like.
